ABOUT US

effequ is an independent publishing house, based in Tuscany, nearby the Maremma Park and some of the Italian best beaches, in the middle of beautiful landscapes, rich artistic legacy, in the true birthplace of the Italian Renaissance. Deeply rooted ih the history and culture of his country, the effequ brand is a garzetta, a small white heron characteristic of the Orbetello Lagoon: it depicts both the devotions to its roots and the need to fly-away.

We propose four collections:

GUIDE D’AUTORE & CITTA’ D’AUTORE: Evocative, literay travel books revealing italian best places ande cities. Novelings, artists and non-fiction authors write about the cities or the regions they live in, taking readers beyond the superficial descriptions of guidebooks to reveal Italian’s cities in a new, literay light.

LIBRIVOLANTI: Fiction, biography, memoirs, travel, docu-fiction. Small books, well bound.

Effequ was founded in 1995 by Fernando Quatraro, a journalist who wanted to point out worries, contradictions, hardness and softness of our times.
